Commission could propose rules for AI bosses and remote work next year

The roadmap states that the Act could tackle AI in the workplace, especially the use of AI-driven software to manage workers. The EU has already discussed and passed rules for these kind of uses of AI in the case of workers providing services through platform companies like Uber. But the Commission is considering going further.

The Quality Jobs Act will also build on input from employers and unions regarding conditions related to remote work – centring around a potential “right to disconnect”.
