Distributed work: The job I want to return to

It seems like almost everyone is currently focused on the concept of “remote” because we’re all in the middle of a pandemic. We are all working from home or new homes much farther away from the city centers that HQs were often situated in. While I do appreciate not having to drag myself through a one hour commute to the office and back each day…as a new mom who is trying to balance work between nursing throughout the day or taking my baby to yet another appointment, what I care more about is the ability to work asynchronously.
