How did you start working remotely? Although I really want to do it, I am also really scared of taking this step

I think I am in the perfect age to try new things and look for better opportunities, but I am also really scared, what if I am not good enough? Or not experienced enough? Mind sharing your experience? Or maybe just where can I start looking for a remote job?
