Seventy-five percent of rural, midcareer workers seek training that remote work opportunities would require, according to a new report by Generation and YouGov. Rural America is Ready for Remote Work, released today, surveyed 500 individuals aged 45 or older across 17 U.S. states, comprising the Appalachian and Delta regions. The report reveals that not only are rural Americans highly motivated to work, but they are also overwhelmingly open to reskilling for remote roles.
