Seems like most digital nomads here are freelancers... does anyone work a salaried from home job whereby they need to be at their computer from the hours of X to X?

I want to give the digital nomad lifestyle a go, but it seems like most people who pull it off successfully are freelancers, whereas I’m merely working a salaried job from home, and therefore still bound by the 9-5 routine.
