The impact of job insecurity on career outcomes

By analyzing 237 primary studies, we identified that job insecurity is associated with heightened organizational and occupational turnover intentions, increased job search behaviors, and knowledge hiding. Conversely, it is negatively related to career satisfaction, perceived career opportunities, perceived employability, and proactive skill development.
