As the lead backend engineer, you will join a small, highly skilled team to develop scalable APIs that handle hundreds of millions of requests daily for Live Ops.

What you’ll do

• Lead backend engineering for BIG BALLERS VR (using Node, Postgres, Railway, and Cloudflare Workers).
• Implement critical API systems to support gameplay, core infrastructure, networking, streaming, and AI.
• Collaborate directly with the co-founders to create highly scalable, reliable, and useful systems.
• Optimize APIs for low latency and high bandwidth traffic, serving millions of users per day.
• Drive backend hiring and team growth as responsibilities increase.

Pay and benefits
