Exciting Opportunity for Driven Sales Talent in Industrial Machinery

Role Overview

We are seeking a lively, motivated Salesperson, with 2 to 3 years’ proven experience, to drive new business and nurture long-term relationships in the industrial machinery sector. This role is suitable for energetic individuals seeking to develop their sales career in a hands-on, field-based environment.

You will handle inbound leads, seek out new business, and spend significant time meeting clients across the UK, Europe, and West Asia. While remote in nature, this position requires extensive travel and face-to-face interaction. We welcome applications from candidates living in Europe, if you are fully proficient (C2) in spoken and written English and capable of regular travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline by following up company leads, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events and exhibitions.
  • Meet clients on-site and virtually to present and promote company products.
  • Thoroughly assess client needs and tailor solutions to match operational requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver credible sales presentations and product demonstrations to decision makers.
  • Negotiate terms, including pricing, delivery, and after-sales support, aiming for win-win outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client communications using CRM systems.
  • Collaborate closely with office-based colleagues including technical teams and support staff.
  • Deliver outstanding service throughout the sales process and after-sales journey.
  • Achieve personal and team sales targets.
  • Manage all aspects of travel and accommodation required for the role.

Candidate Profile

  • Energetic, eager to learn, and looking for a road-based, skill-building sales role.
  • Strong technical aptitude; quick to grasp new concepts and product features.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Confidence, professionalism, and positive, can-do attitude in all environments.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, but also a team player.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Fluent, clear spoken and written English; a second language is a bonus.
  • Holds a full, clean driving licence and happy to travel extensively.
