Remote Cruise Coordinator

Role Overview

As a Cruise Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients embarking on cruise vacations. You will coordinate all aspects of the cruise booking and travel process, provide expert guidance, support clients before, during, and after their trip, and work closely with internal operations to ensure an outstanding experience. This is a remote role that demands strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the coordinator for cruise bookings: select suitable cruise lines, cabins, itineraries and onboard packages based on client needs and preferences.
  • Guide clients through the full travel lifecycle: initial inquiry, booking, pre‐cruise preparation (documentation, travel insurance, shore-excursions), on-board support, and post-cruise follow-up.
  • Manage changes and disruptions (e.g., schedule changes, cancellations, shore excursions) and act as liaison with cruise line partners and travel vendors.
  • Maintain accurate client records, prepare travel itineraries, send reminders and updates, and ensure clients have all necessary travel and safety information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, customer-service) to ensure seamless delivery of services and identify opportunities to improve the client experience.
  • Track metrics related to bookings, client satisfaction, ancillary sales (excursions, upgrades), and report on performance regularly.
  • Stay current on cruise-industry trends, new lines, itineraries, vendor offerings, regulatory updates (e.g., travel documentation, visas) and share best practices with the team.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • Comfort working in a fully remote environment — self‐motivated, disciplined, reliable connectivity and home office setup.
  • Customer-service oriented mindset, with ability to handle potential travel disruptions calmly and professionally.

Preferred:

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple booking projects simultaneously, track details and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with travel‐booking software/CRMs and ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends when required (e.g., client emergencies, live check-ins).

What We Offer:

  • Fully remote role – work from your home office, or while traveling.
  • Flexible schedule
  • Competitive salary and bonus/commission structure tied to bookings and client satisfaction.
  • Professional development opportunities (industry training, certifications).
  • Supportive remote team culture with regular check-ins, team meetings, and virtual social activities.
