Mercor is recruiting U.S./UK/Canada/Europe/Singapore/Dubai/Australia-based Finance Experts for a research project with a leading foundational model AI lab.

You are a good fit if you:

• Have at least 2 years of experience working at top firms in investment banking or private equity and experience in at least one of the following
  • Product groups
    • Restructuring & Distressed Investing
    • PIPE (private investment in public equities) / convertible security models
    • IPO modeling
    • Derivatives
  • Coverage groups
    • Biotech
    • Gaming & lodging
    • Telecom
    • Media & Entertainment
    • Transportation & logistics

Here are more details about the role:

• The work is fully asynchronous and can be done around your schedule
• You must be able to commit at least 20 hours per week for this role
• This contract is expected to last till December
• Successful contributions increase the odds that you are slected on future projects with Mercor
• The vetting process involves:
  • ~10 minute behavioral interview asking about previousdeals you’ve worked on
  • Technical assessment ( < 30 minutes) evaluating financial expertise
  • One 2h paid assessment of modeling skills

With respect to pay and legal status:

• **This role
• We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Cnnect based on the number of hours you log
• You will be classified as an “at-will” contractor to Mercor
• Please note that we cannot currently support H1-B or STEM OT status candidates
